Who is Little & Mighty
When I’m looking for places to shop, I do my best to meet this criteria:
-Superior & unique product
-Quality over quantity
-Environmentally friendly product/company
Many times, finding products that are locally made is very difficult, but not this time! Little & Mighty is located just a hop, skip, & a jump away from me in lovely Austin, TX. The founders of the company, Rachel, Komal and Amanda, are seriously cool mamas with a mission to celebrate childhood. Follow that link & read their individual bios because they are fabulous!
Their creativity & passion really comes across in the clothes they’ve come up with for your littles. The most amazing part for me is that all their designs are hand-drawn! Quite well, I might add, because my son’s balance bike shirt has killer detail!
My Mighty Kids
Below you can see my son picking and eating mint in our garden in his Little & Mighty fashion. He loves to do this & he knows it’s the only plant in the garden he can put in his mouth without permission. He is such an adventurer, but he also follows directions really well. He’s my mighty little man!
Little & Mighty’s Important Points
Every piece of clothing you purchase from Little & Mighty is made here in the U.S. and most are printed using water-based inks. This ink is far superior as it absorbs into the fabric giving the clothes that all-time favorite shirt softness even though they’re brand new. The water-based inks also add breathability, which was SUPER noticable to me when I took my kiddos outside to play in the Texas heat. My son’s balance bike shirt breathed like a dream and he stayed nice & cool. Meanwhile, baby K was in her pear onesie on me in our Sakura Bloom sling and we did great staying cool as well. She wasn’t even drenched in sweat when I took her out of the sling for lunch.
Little & Mighty makes sure to qualify that they take their photos prior to washing the clothing, so the colors might be a bit more vibrant intially. Honestly, if they are, it isn’t a noticable change at all. Here is a picture before I washed the clothes & after with my kiddos wearing them. I want to add that none of the pictures have a filter, so they are the true colors.
Little man’s shirt is a size 4. He is 3 years old, 30lbs, & 37inches tall. The Balance Bike Shirt size is perfect! Depending on how much he grows, I think it could last us at least a year.
Baby K is a bit of a different story. Her onesie is a 3-6 months fit and it is perfect right now, but for long-term use, since babies grow and change so quickly, I recommend sizing up. One great thing about Little & Mighty’s onesies that I haven’t seen anywhere else is the snap closures don’t add more bulk between the legs. The whole onesie seems to taper down leaving lots of leg hole room for baby mighty movers to wiggle around. This is ideal for us since we cloth diaper and we definitely don’t need any extra fabric down there!
I’m completely sold on Little & Mighty. They are the pefect company to purchase your kid’s clothing from if you’re looking for original designs printed on high quality fabrics. That’s us to a tee, so I say we’re definitely a house full of Little & Mighty customers for life. I can’t wait to place our next order! 💙
