ORGANIC INDIA’s Tulsi Tea Review

Organic IndiaI received this product for free from the sponsor of the Moms Meet program, May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As I sit to write this review, I realize that I haven’t publicly announced our family’s big news: we’re pregnant! I have been very quiet on social media lately because I’ve found myself quite sick with this second pregnancy. I’m sure many of you know how hard it is to be wrought with “morning” [all-day] sickness and care for a toddler. It’s rough, and I’m so grateful for my amazing husband really stepping up to help me out.

Now, in all honesty, there are very few foods/drinks that I’ve been able to stomach. Due to this, I was a little nervous about attempting to sample a variety of tea flavors, but I found all of the ORGANIC INDIA’s Tulsi Teas to be  soothing and quite tasty. Funnily enough, our 2-year-old son also just loved the teas! I finally had to make him his own cup because he was constantly sneaking sips from mine. I’m pretty sure he’d drink them all day long if I let him!

One great thing about ORGANIC INDIA’s Tulsi Teas is that they can be enjoyed hot or cold. For you pregnant mommies out there, many of them are caffeine free! Plus, they’re full of antioxidants, offer a “boost to your natural immune system,” and are organic, which makes them very safe for your whole family to enjoy.

Untitled design-7I’ve got to say that our family favorites were definitely the fruit teas. My personal favorite was Raspberry Peach. It’s subtle and sweet. I’d recommend drinking it cold with a tiny bit of sugar. Absolutely delicious! My husband’s favorite was Red Mango. He found it to be fruity and a bit spicy, and perfect hot or cold. For these particular flavors, we suggest sweetening it with honey.

Pomegranate Green was another home run for us. It’s a great wake-up tea. Add a bit of honey, sip slowly, and look forward to an amazing day!

Finally, the Sweet Rose is flowery, sweet, and subtle. This is going to be my go-to tea when cold season inevitably hits our house. It offers relief for poor stuffy noses and sore throats. I’d definitely recommend trying it with honey.

I’m so glad we got the opportunity to sample these awesome teas, and we’ll definitely be buying more at our local Whole Foods.
